Tennis elbow specifically involves the area where muscles and tendons of the forearm attach to the outside bony area (called lateral epicondyle) of elbow. It commonly affects people who play sports, gardeners, house/office cleaners, mechanics, and assembly line workers. 1- Pain slowly increasing around outside of elbow
2- Pain intensifying with shaking hands or squeezing objects
3- Pain worsens when stabilizing or moving wrist with force (lifting, using tools, opening jars, etc.)
1- Rest elbow by avoiding activities that cause pain
2- Apply ice to area
3- NSAID’s (if prescribed by a doctor)
