Oliver Beirne

Oliver received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2018. He fell in love with the field of physical therapy after going to PT to recover from his own shoulder surgery. He has taken advanced courses on knee, hip, shoulder, and spine injuries, including the McKenzie method of treatment for back and neck pain. He enjoys working with patients with a wide variety of conditions including sports injuries, surgical patients, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. He is passionate about getting to know his patients and helping them achieve what they didn’t think was possible, including returning to the soccer field after ACL surgery, regaining the ability to walk after a stroke, and finding many other abilities they thought were out of reach.

Oliver grew up in Chicago and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, playing sports, and enjoying all of the outdoor activities Roanoke has to offer, including hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains and running on the Greenway.
